Okay~ i finally handed up my assignment.
but jus before handing up.
i realized that in the school com, the fonts that i set don't match with my home com. i used copper-something gothic light. too bad.. hiaz.. and also thattttt...
some of us realized that we actually needed a page whereby it states

so i had to last min crap out a simple html page of it and faster upload to the server and pass to gary the link for it so that he could compile it in the class site. intitally i passed him the wrong link. as in the link to my process page whereby i jus grab a blog to do it since we wasn't told to design it. aniwae, the link to the very plain page is http://intoxicated.fateback.com/link.html

ha. i m finally done with my web design. named it inTOXIcated to show my state of mind now. basically i m almost done. except for the design rationale document. which i m going to do next.
thruout my html and whatever coding.. keep making mistakes and missed out a bit here and there.. but prob were solved after that. and that i did a tiny bit of css.. but it cant be viewed in firefox. so the one in firefox doesn't look nicer than the one in IE definately.

and also that gary asked us to give him a 'pic' for our web identity or sort of thing to put in the class site. so this is what i did.
i handed in d 2nd one in d end.

had some changes in my design. abort the idea of doing the DJ thing coz i don't find that nice and interesting. emailed ms winnie the other idea and she says it looks interesting. well i don't know how interesting is that thou.. but aniwae, i think it is better than the previous one.
roughly something like this. intoxicated by what? by everything i would say.

this is the sketch i did before i do it on the illustrator.

did slicing in imageready but then teacher says not allowed so er.. got to change to all use hand code. duhz.... meanin the slicing got to start from scratch.. ah..

Showed Ms Winnie the jpeg for the web main page design today and the remark was that it would be hard to slice in Imageready for the navigation icons and that i should list out the icons. and also that she say that i can simplify the typo wording "intoxication" a bit more to make it more legible. so i should email her on it for approval again. aniwae, i have the urge of chaning ideas. ok i shall see how. maybe do more to seek for approval again and get the best out of the ? shit? *muahahaha

o and i forgot to post my sketches for the jpeg 'dj' concept. here it goes....

and the below is my flowchart. it is not as clear enough coz i post it by taking photo of it. i dun have a scanner..

still on the part of brainstorming for concepts of the webdesign ass 1. not yet done. had onli did some sketches of idea.. not enough still.. and i not very satisfy with what i did at the moment so we shall see. shall rush a bit more.. so that tml i can show tutors and ask for advices. =)
tired..
but ms winnie asked me which one i liked and i said i prefer the 'DJ' idea so she asked me to start doing on jpeg and show her next week.

aniwae, below is the one on like 'inside of a factory" whereby there are machines that hang stuffs and then drop it in the rolling thing which i dunno what it is called. aniwae, the thing that hangs things is like hanging me. meaning that i m now like stressed with studies and other personal factors that made me feel that i m on the verge of being dropped down.

below is a sketch of myself standing on a stool coz i am short. and short. and very short. but yet i am happy. =)

below is the sketch that i meationed on the 'dj' thing. the navigation will be those play, forward, stop and rewind thing on the scratch disc. so it is like u are playing your own music and kinda viewing my portfolio as and how u like it. a clubbing style. when it is dark, there bound to be some light there.

Showed Ms Ng some sketches of my idea and the feedback is that she wanted something that is more 'ME'.. as in one look.. she will get the idea of which student it belongs to etc.. something very 'me'. so yar.. got to work harder ba.. cannot find the book she recommended me thou. so i borrowed another one. hope it is still ok.. as in can triger some idea off me.

next step. do more research and find a identity for myself. aka. noe me myself better.

aniwae, below is a sketch of proposed idea. a website whereby the graphics will be of more fun style and tat that is a flat image of me kicking a ball. coz i like sports and i love soccer. yeah.. colors i wanted to use includes black, white and green. advice is that it is still not 'ME' enough. meaning self identity is not strong lor..

the other one is that i wanted to use photographs that i took of my friends and make my website into a kinda boho/vintage style coz i like to take photos of my friends so much i dun hav much on myself. i simply like to take pics of anything and everything. but den idea was not approved either coz self identity is not strong and that it will mislead ppl to think that the one that appears on the photo is me.

Basically what i did today was to keep on browsing through different websites and books etc as a research for the kinda style i want for my webdesign online portfolio.

Had some questions that i wanted to ask the lecturers before i can really proceed.
Is flash allowed? or are we doing this for this assignment? or they only want plain html pages.. blah blah?
main prob! HOW TO DO?? i've no idea in doing a website..

kinda decided that i want the color of my site to be GREEEEEN, BLACKKKK and WHITEEE! and the feel? sporty! style! but i am also having thots about doing the backgrd using photos that i took.. and of coz edit it lar.. still thinking. concept not fixed. nothing much is done to be exact.

ah.. off to do more research.. oh yes.. tml there is a web design quiz. good luck peeps!
